I can be slow replying to all emails so I’ve put up a message board instead that you can say hi or whatever’s on your mind. I do appreciate the kind words from everyone! – Jonas
I have been having a lot of OBEs, but I couldn't ever figure out how I had them. It's like when I try to have one I can't and when I don't think about them they just happened. Thanx. Your techniques really helped me take more control.
i thank you because i couldnt of gotten an astral projection without you.my first obe is through the dream state method.u helped me out alot and now i always astral project.thanx again!
I'm glad have read up on Astral Projection or I might have gone loony due to my recent first experience. It did not happen on purpose. I was sleeping and I felt the staccato vibrations waving over my body. It felt almost like a sharp tingling. Then, I just got up. I popped up, actually, as if on an ejector seat. I looked behind me, and there I was...sleeping. At first, I thought I was dreaming, but then I remembered those vibrations. Then I KNEW it wasn't a dream because that kind of memory doesn't exist for me in dreams...so I go to walk out my bedroom door, but then I thought, why use the doorknob when I can walk on through...and I did. Then I came back in and decided to take a ride above my house. I saw the top of my house. The yard, the driveway, everything. Then I got a little freaked out. I came down and woke up. I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night!!
Hey.....I like all tips....I have still never exsperienced Astral Projection yet..but I'm steadily practicing. Oh yea..also wanted to through in there that you are way cute....lol
I have been obsessed with the idea of OBE for about two years now, and only recently have I come close. My latest OBE has sparked a new excitement in me and I can't stop finding other astral travelers!! Again, love the page. And the cat.
very good that you are promoting wider understanding of out of body experiences.there isnt much infomation about to describe it.many people dont even relise it has happened to them.i have had many o.b.e since a child.
Thanks for your instruction and encouragement. I haven't had an OBE yet but I've been fascinated for years. I've decided it's time to make it happen. I appreciate your love of cats and the vegetarian comments - I relate to both. Best wishes to you on your journeys - in and out of the body.
One of the good things I have found out about obe´s is that so many ppl have them, and there´s a lot less contradictions than I thought - most ppl I´ve read on the subject usually agree upon or describe the same things. For us who are learning and searching it´s very reassuring. I loved your site, and will check it periodically. Thanks - great stuff. Love your cat.
I haven't had an OBE in several years because I freaked out. I have a renewed interest, and determination to not freak out this time. LOL. Who knows, maybe I'll run into you... or not. Unlike you, I'm more afraid of people in REAL life. Go figure.
I've had involentary OBE since childhood - too many to put a figure to! Like you my Mother (and grandmother) had them. In their cases they knew exactly what it was. Although it was also involuntary in their cases, they were nonchalant about it. I grew up hearing comments like "my spirit must have known they were about to cause trouble, because I went there last night in my sleep" This would be followed by the exact location of said item/details of event. On my only concious attempt of OBE, I 'flew' over my ex (I chose to focus on my very recent ex as I thought focusing on someone with whom I had an emotional connection would pull on my subconcious mind) - 2 days later my ex phoned me to see if all was ok - he said he had a very lucid (and angst ridden) dream that he could see me but was unable to reach me. He managed to hold out the first day but felt he had to phone me the next day. His description of his 'dream' was so close to my own OBE that I'm afraid I was frightened off - but I will be trying it again after reading your site - I'm just moments away from rekindling my obbsesion as I type.....
wonderful site!! i found it to be quiet intriguing. jonas, you rock !
I just thought I would say something else. There is an old eastern practice of imagining a brilliant sphere above your head in whatever color you find most soothing. Now set the shere spinning as you allow yourself to drift off to sleep. If you can maintain the visualization as you go to sleep a part of your consciousness will remain intact and will surface while your body is asleep. I've done this several times and it is a great place to channel energy and feel the "astral" body. But be warned: This state can be extremly terrifying to the novice. I beleive that it should be possible to project from this state. I'll give it a try.
Hey Jonas, it's good to know of another person who believes that the physical Universe that we live in is not the end but the begining! I have been trying to project now for a few weeks now with promising results. I have been practising meditation for years now so my ability to enter trance and enduce paralysis is a big help. I can channel vital energy (which by the way if you learn to do in the waking state will increase your energy level and the amount of time you can be awake without feeling tired. Also great for preventing illness: I havn't had a cold in five years!) and can now feel the "etheric/astral/light/whatever body" and it's movements. I plan to try your rocket method from a sate of meditation. I applaud you for bringing this knowledge to the public and HOPE THAT EVERYONE OUT THERE USES THIS GIFT WITH MORALITY. This is a true gift, a chance for humans to finally evolve into what we can become.
I tried one of your mehods last night and I almost made it but could not due to a lack of sleep lately. I had been able to seperate my arm and leg from my physical and waved them around. Pretty much I figured if it was going to work at a later time I had a good reason to try later. If I had gotten that far I would be able to do it again at a later time and I figured I am just stocked up on time so I am going to try it again tonight. Your methods are the first to have any effect
I've been projecting since i was about nine or ten. I'm now 26 and I still get excited every time i leave my body and go for a float in the astral world! Remote viewing and astral projection are better than sex!!
thanx for everything! you've helped me understand OBE's more and how they work...I've only experienced them four times. it's all new to me, but I hope to continue...

Hi Jonas! Cool web site! I have had spontaneous OBEs and lucid dreams fornumber of years. Right now I am working on having them at will. A book "Astral Dynamics" by Robert Bruce is prooving to be of great help. Up to this point my favorite way to project was from lucid dream. I found that to do that you must make the dream stable (avoid waking up) by using "Castaneda Technique". I came across it in Carlos Castaneda's books. Once you realize you are dreaming you must look at your hands, but only in a quick glance or they will start to melt away. Next look in quick glances at any four objects in your dream (one at a time),and come back to your hands. Repeat this sequence over and over until your dream is more stable. after this it is much easier to transform the dream into OBE. I am not sure, but I bet this method could work during OBE to stop you from being pulled back into body. Anyway, I look forward to try your projection techniques we may meet on the "other side". Keep up the good work!!! PS. I like your cat. Keep the tiger happy or he will pounce on you...MEAU!!!
You sound like a really cool person to hang out with. The backflips off the bed, the spinning. Definitely something I would do. I've been reading on OBE's for quite a while, I think its time to go for it
