I reade on your site the you heard voices when projecting. I can't project myself (Yet!) But When I meditate, I sometimes hear voices as well... It's just fragments of regular conversation. Like: 1: Wow, did you get a new car? 2: No, it's my wife's car! Really weird. I heard it when I lived in Denmark, and it was in Danish. You're welcome to visit me here in Ireland if you like!

Great site. Nice to see there are people as interested in this stuff as us on the other side of the pond. Maybe we're met in the astral one day!

I was reading about your first real OBE, and the very beginning of it struck me as unbelievable. A few years ago, I had quite a similar experience, with my mother cooking pancakes by the sink. Everything was in complete detail. It had been triggered by my mother attemping to wake me, but I apparently had gone back to sleep. I didn't know that. So, I stood up and walked to the kitchen. I sat down at the only unavailable seat, because my two brothers and my sister were already seated. I looked over at my mother again, and then I heard her yell my name again. I woke up with a huge jolt, as if I had been shaken violently. I walked into the kitchen, and my mom and siblings were in the same spot, and wearing the same clothes. Wow, I really went off there. heh. Anyways, I just wanted to tell you how similar our first experiences were, and how odd it was for me to read that.

You helped me acheive my first conciouse OBE.

Excellent info Jonas. I have had a few astral experiences but they are usually short and I am not fully in control. For example, when flying I have to swim through the air instead of speeding off. I really want to master it. Also, the world doesn't look exactly the same as the physical world. Should it? I mean I can recognize places but they are not wexactly the same. I will practice your methods. Thanks man STU

I was 'OUT' the other nite, 'floating' down a street my camper van was parked in...it was -6, frost all around.. I could see it was freezing.. but could not feel the cold..then shot up hundreds of feet in the air, looked down over north london, sparkling lights fantastic... pure elation.. im learning there truely are no limits..

My conscious woke up yesterday before my body did. I kept my eyes closed. I couldn't have moved my physical body if I wanted to, because i tried, I was paralyzed(having my neck paralyzed was kind of scary even though it happens semi frequently). It was weird, this event, because at first it seemed like my astralbody was trying to leave without me(my consciousness), or like my astralbody was on auto-pilot out of my physical self. It was almost like i had to catch up with it, and i did, and thats when i realized i was sitting up, then standing up at the foot of my bed, then i turned around and very hazzily saw myself through very cloudy vision, and then it ended and i moved my neck and woke up completely in my physical body, it was weird, i dont remember the plunge back in, just waking up.

I liked your site. I will check out those "Seth" books sometime soon. I am in a gnosticweb AP course right now, and am working with their techniques for now, but may try yours after the course is over. Thanks! :o)

last night i had an outer body experience... i've been trying for months, i knew that i shouldn't do it when i was still afraid.. i did. it was such a terrifying experience... don't do anything like that or try anything like that until you're willing to let go of any fear you have...

My sister has always been able to OBE and I want to learn. Thanks.

I was wondering, Is it natural when you astral project for your whole body to feel numb while your trying to astral project? And also what do you say in your head when you do it that works real well for you? Thankyou for your time.
ally from west kilbride, Ayrshire Scotland
i am new to OBE's and admitably i was rather scpetical at first - until i read about the Whomp - Whomp - thing and the paralysis also - this has happened to me on many occasions and i have never met anyone who could explain them
greg from leeds, england

I am hoping to experience a concious OBE soon. I love SETH and enjoy the books. The best I've done is actually sit up in my astral body(tan to beige)in color as I remember it..my chest was very heavy and I let this scare me a little. Now,that I know that this is common,The best I seem to do is feel my limbs start to jerk, then i snap out of it. I'll keep trying though!!

I also am a big fan of Seth. Although I haven't read all the Seth books I have read a few including "Seth Speaks" you know the big thick one with pinkish cover! I also own "Seth, Dreams and Projections of Consciousness", "Adventures Beyond the Body" and a few others. I've had some Lucid Dreams, Flying Dreams, etc... I have studied many methods to achive Astral Projection and came to the same conclusion you did.
paul from coventry, england
also im half asleep when these dreams come on and i think im probably in sleep paralasis, but as soon as the vibrations come one, im not in the dream state no more, still alseep but my mind is awake, but im aware im laying on the bed or couch, so it is deffo a diffrent state from the dream state, even the lucid dream state, just incase someone thinks its a dream, if it is its a diffrent kind from lucid ones or normal ones, cant wait to get out and fly about, so yeah someone tell me how please
paul from coventry, england
hi, ive had lucid dreams in the past and practise it, but one time when i was napping after getting up too early(i find this the best time) i projected my mind into a dream but brought on these stong vibrations and rushing sounds, shit the life out of me, but ive got over the fear now and can have them at will when the time is right, but how do i get out of my body from the vibrational state? ive relised i can sort of control the speed of the vibrations but i dont seem to be able to get them fast enough to leave, which is what it feels like i must do, im learning everytime i have them, and i think maybe i have to stop trying to force the vibrations stronger with will, does that sound about right
Chad from San Francisco, CA
Wow, I have never heard anyone relate to the whomp whomp feeling as exactly as you have. Just stumbled onto your site as search words popped into my head for fun. You've inspired me to practice this gift. Thanks- Peace out
